Facial Exercises and Acupressure

Facial fitness exercise is a controversial subject. Some say facial exercises cause wrinkles. Some say if done correctly, they can improve the tone and fitness of your face…giving you a more youthful appearance. Just be careful if you decide to do it…anything that really stretches or pulls on the skin cannot be good.

Eyelid exercise – When the muscles of the eyelids weaken, you can be left with folds and or sagging. This reportedly can be strengthened by the exercise shown at the above link.

Acupressure – The treatment of symptoms by applying pressure with the fingers to specific pressure points on the body. Specifically, with regard to the face, it means applying pressure and massaging the muscles and "pressure points" of the face usually with very small circles using your fingers and thumbs (and sometimes knuckles) in order to reduce lines, firm and tone, and alleviate stress. It feels wonderful and is honestly most relaxing.
