Please note that the process of removing excess fluids may result in an increase of the removal of important vitamins and minerals from the body, such as calcium, potassium, and other important electrolytes. Supplements should be considered when using diuretics.

Also, be sure that you are drinking enough water by drinking it frequently throughout the day when thirsty. Not drinking enough water can actually cause bloating with the body retaining water in response.
