Early Warning Signs of Cancer
The following symptoms are warning signs that can be indicative of cancer, varying depending on the type of cancer:
- Change(s) in bowel or bladder functions
- Skin sore that does not heal
- Indigestion
- Difficulty swallowing
- Chronic, persistent cough or hoarse voice changes
- Presence of a lump or thickening in breast or other body part
- Unusual / unexplained bleeding or discharge
- Wart or mole change
- General skin changes with color or hair growth
- Unexplained weight loss
- Unexplained weight gain
- Pain (although not usually an early symptom)
- Fatigue (normally seen more in advanced stages)
- Fever (normally seen more in advanced stages)
