Recommend listing of chapter and picture books for young girls ages 4 to 8 (preschool, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade…and beyond in some cases). This list contains excellent books, many with beautiful artwork and illustrations. Not restricted to just girls though — any child would likely enjoy these selections!
The titles include books about princesses, fairies, life, friendship, dolls, animals including horses and various other subjects. Also, included are some classic stories.
