Simple Kickin Chicken Hot and Peppery Dry Rub BBQ Grilling Recipe
This is a great and simple BBQ rub that can be used on chicken, pork, and beef. It isn’t just restricted to barbeque grilling. Can be used when baking as well. Can also adjust ingredients to make it not as hot or so peppery if you like and it will still turn out great!
Ingredients
1/2 c organic cane sugar (can substitute white sugar)
1/2 c brown sugar
2 T sea salt (can use iodized table salt)
1 T fresh ground black pepper
1 T garlic powder
1 t cayenne powder
1 t paprika
Adjust salt, black pepper, and cayenne to suit. Combine ingredients and rub into meat. Allow to “marinate” for 30 minutes. Grill or bake as normal. This rub really seals in the flavor and juices. Suggest using fresh organic ingredients if you have the opportunity as it will only improve the results.
Some ideas:
Use on chicken breasts or filets, chicken wings, pork roasts, baby back ribs, country style ribs, spareribs, pork chops, pork loin, beef or pork steaks.
