Natural Sore Throat Remedies
Sore throat remedies and treatment cures from natural ingredient include:
- Slippery Elm – Have tried Thayers Slippery Elm lozenges for a sore throat and they really helped. Odd taste, but not a bad taste. You can also find slippery elm teas which should work as well.
- Apple cider vinegar and warm water (drink or gargle)
- Hot tea with lemon and honey
- Hot drink of lemon, apple cider vinegar, cayenne, and honey
- Warm water gargle with sea salt and crushed baby aspirin
- Warm water gargle with lemon juice and salt
- Warm water gargle with cayenne
- Pickle juice
- Crushed blackcurrants added to a cup of boiling water (allow to steep for 10 minutes then drink the liquid and chew the fruit)
