Removing Stains and Cleaning with Vinegar

Cleaning

Vinegar is an all-purpose, amazing cleaner that I believe should be used in placed of harsh chemically filled commercial cleaners and detergents whenever possible. Vinegar has the power to do a major part of your household cleaning as well as stain removal.

White vinegar is effective for removing:
Berry stains
Chewing gum
Coffee stains
Decals
Grass stains
Mold
Paint
Tea stains
Wine stains (white wine will also supposedly remove red wine stains)

Fabric Softener/Anti-Cling:
Add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to wash cycle for a fabric softener and static guard. Also helps to brighten clothes (and remove perspiration stains…allow to soak overnight for this purpose).

Floor Cleaner:
For an all-purpose floor cleaner, to one gallon of hot water, add:
1/4 cup of white vinegar
1 T vegetable oil based soap (aka castile soap)

*** Note: It is recommended to test on an inconspicuous area first. ***
